Emergency Services

Berkshire Health Systems provides access to emergency services in several ways:

• Berkshire Medical Center is home to a Level Two Trauma Center and 24-hour Emergency Department. In addition, BMC has an Express Care Center for patients with immediate but less emergent needs.
• In Southern Berkshire, Fairview Hospital in Great Barrington has 24-hour a day care through its Emergency Department.

Berkshire Health Systems also offers training for emergency personnel and works in collaboration with other local emergency responders on emergency operations planning, drills and response.
