Anemia Clinic

In our Anemia Clinic, patients with chronic kidney disease receive Aranesp or Procrit injections to help maintain a normal blood count. Patients with kidney disease often suffer from anemia (low blood count) leading to fatigue and a decrease in their sense of well-being. The injections help to improve these symptoms, and help reduce blood transfusions and hospitalizations of our patients. The injections are administered by our medical assistant.
