Family Birthplace at Fairview

At Fairview Hospital's Family Birthplace, we believe that a safe and loving birth experience is the best gift we can give to mothers and their babies.  Our obstetrical staff - dedicated to create an atmosphere that is warm, welcoming, respectful and healing - is highly trained to meet your personalized needs and safety. 

Before delivery, each mother creates her own Individualized Birth Plan to assure her needs are met and our staff is aware of your personal needs.

Fairview Hospital's Family Birthplace offers five beautifully decorated LDRP rooms, each with its own private bathroom, providing a hotel-like atmosphere with warm tones, mountain views and comfortable birthing beds as well as privacy for the personal attention that new mothers and their babies need.  State-of-the-art technology is located inside every room to assure that medical support is available if necessary.

Our staff knows the wide variety of emotions that having a new baby may experience, and we will give you the support, encouragement and education you need to build the foundation of your new life together.  Following the birthing experience, our nurses will help you develop a strong bond with your baby before you go home.  When you are home, we encourage you to call anytime with questions.  A nurse is always available.

While at Fairview, mothers and their babies will receive care that assures the safety and well being including lactation support, a full range of diagnostic screenings and the experience of our staff who will educate you in how to care for your baby when you return home.
