Open House to be Held at BMC Imaging and Testing Center

March 14, 2008 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE BMC TO HOLD OPEN HOUSE FOR NEW OUTPATIENT IMAGING AND TESTING CENTER PITTSFIELD, MA - Berkshire Medical Center will hold a community open house for its new Outpatient Imaging & Testing Center, which has formally opened at 610 North Street in Pittsfield. The open house will be held on Tuesday, March 25th from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. and is open to all. Light refreshments will be served and visitors can walk through the new state-of-the-art center. The BMC Outpatient Imaging & Testing Center provides diagnostic x-ray, ultrasound, high-speed CT scans, bone density testing, nuclear medicine testing and pre-surgical assessment services. The 610 North Street location was renovated for the new center and features the latest imaging technology. In addition, the center is electronically integrated with Berkshire Medical Center's comprehensive electronic medical record system, which allows the patient's physician easy access to testing results. Staff from the BMC Advanced Imaging Department and Pre-Surgical Assessment team will be on hand to greet visitors to the open house.
