Proper care of the patient in accordance with the departmental and hospital policies and procedures is required. May be assigned independent responsibilities by the Administrative Director, Operations Manager or Lead Technologist. |

| Minimum Qualifications | Must have completed approved Diagnostic Sonography Technology Program. Additional registration and state license as a diagnostic technologist perferred. Registered by the ARDMS or ARRT. If not registered, registry eligible and obtained within two years of employment preferred. Minimum 3 years experience Ultrasonographer preferred. Must be registered or ARDMS or ARRT registry eligible. Must be proficient in Abdominal, Pelvic, and Obstetrical, dvt studies of arms and legs and obtaining images using portable equipment. Must be familiar with sterile technique and set up of sterile trays. Ability to function independently and proficiently. Must be able to move and lift patients, equipment, and supplie on a regular basis. Ability to function in a high stress, work intensive environment. Must be CPR certified. |
