| Primary Duties | The Community Health Registered Nurse (RN) provides, teaches, supervises and documents nursing care of the sick and injured at home. The RN intervenes to promote, maintain or restore health to prevent illness and to effect rehabilitation. The RN Collaborates with other healthcare providers, professionals and community representatives to coordinate care at home. The RN evaluates the individuals and families response to interventions. In order to effectively provide home care, they must have a working knowledge of home care reimbursement and regulatory guidelines. |
