| Primary Duties | The Registered Professional Nurse functions as a health care team leader responsible for the safe delivery of patient-centered, goal oriented care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. The Registered Professional Nurse also directs and guides patient teaching and activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing. |

| Minimum Qualifications | Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred. Thorough knowledge of nursing principles and procedures. Current MA RN license. Must be CPR certified annually. Must demonstrate continuing education in accordance with state regulations. Excellent interpersonal skills. Performance consistent with Planetree standards. Previous medical/surgical experience preferred. Previous Rehab experience preferred. Rehab certification preferred. Demonstrated good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to function in an interdisciplinary team setting. Ability to function independently. Special interests and ability to work with clients who are elderly, disabled and chronically ill. |
