Title   PURCHASING MANAGER

Primary Duties   Responsible for the administration of Berkshire Healthcare Systems group purchasing organizations committed contracting programs as well as independent contracts. Responsible for the implementation of appropriate materials, goods, and services to meet the needs of Berkshire Healthcare Systems. Responsible for the preparation of underlying assumptions for certain expense and capital budgets.
Status   Full Time
Schedule   40 Hour Day Position
Minimum Qualifications   Bachelor's Degree in business required and minimum of three years experience. Previous experience in Materials Management/Purchasing. Strong clinical or healthcare operations background for administration of committed contracting. Strong technical background for negotiating contracts. Proven ability to negotiate, faciliate, and mediate a requirement. Strong interpersonal skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Must be proficient in basic computer skills. Previous budget and group purchasing experience required. Strong organizational skills required. Must have strong ability to multi-task.
