HealthGrades: Ranks BMC in Top 5% in Nation for Pulmonary Care

Berkshire Medical Center was ranked among the top 5% of hospitals in the nation - and first in Massachusetts - for overall Pulmonary Care Services, according to an independent study by HealthGrades, the nation's leading healthcare ratings company. BMC is a recipient of a 2009 HealthGrades Pulmonary Care Excellence Award and achieved a five-star rating for overall pulmonary services. In addition, BMC received a five-star rating for the treatment of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease for three years in a row, and was five-star rated for the treatment of Pneumonia.
