| Minimum Qualifications | Graduate of an approved surgical technologist program. Current AST certification or certification eligibility (must obtain certification within one year form date of hire). Knowledge and application of surgical aseptic technique. Familiar with basic surgical procedures, instruments, equipment, physiology, microbiology, anatomy. Ability to perform effectively in stressful and emergency situations. Willingness to cross-train to Endoscopy and Central Services as required. |
