Laboratory Services at Fairview
The Laboratory at Fairview Hospital is accreditated by The Joint Commission and the American College of Pathologists. Our Laboratory Department provides a full range of clinical laboratory, medicine and pathology services. Under the supervision of a physician Pathologist, our Clinical and Pathology Laboratories allow for a wide variety of tests to assist doctors in diagnosis and treatment. Over 95% of requested tests are performed in-house, reducing delays in reporting results. Extensive testing of control materials ensures that test results are of the highest quality.

Most testing is conducted at Fairview Hospital. However, for some specialized procedures, tests may be transferred to Berkshire Medical Center for processing.
Outpatient testing hours:
Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Saturday, 8:00 - 11:00 a.m.
Patients are asked to register at the Admitting Office prior to proceeding to the Laboratory.
Staff
Fairview Hospital's Laboratory is staffed by highly skilled ASCP accredited Medical Technologists, Clinical Lab Assistants and Phlebotomies. The Laboratory is overseen by a team of six board-certified pathologists who serve both Fairview Hospital and Berkshire Medical Center.
